Talk at ICON•S: Europe‘s decline in judicial independence - Is there a way out?

Very much looking forward to seeing old and new colleagues at ICON•S Mundo 2021, the annual conference of the International Society of Public Law, where I will discuss Europe‘s sharp decline in judicial independence and whether there is a way out of this situation! Each year the annual meeting of ICON•S gathers hundreds of public law scholars and practitioners from around the world. I will present on the shrinking space for civil society activists and how their work is undermined by an increasing politicized judiciary in Europe.
