Research seminar on access to justice at Lund University

With inflation soaring around the world, how to ensure that all people, regardless their financial situation, can defend their rights and receive the support they need?

These questions were addressed by the research seminar I gave yesterday at Lund University's Sociology of Law Department.

In my presentation, I explored, based on findings of interviews and surveys I conducted across Asia and Europe with governments, lawyers, NGOs and development agencies, the challenges people face when accessing legal aid services and the growing importance of new technologies to strengthen people's access to justice.
