I am pleased to announce that I have been elected to the board of the Research Committee on Sociology of Law (RCSL)! Founded in 1962, the RCSL is the world's leading association to promote international comparative socio-legal research and teaching and is the co-founder of The International Institute for the Sociology of Law in Oñati, which has become home to students and researchers from around the globe who have an interest in law and society.
Socio-legal studies, bringing together scholars and practitioners from across the world and promoting the work of women being at the heart of my work in research and legal practice, I very much look forward to my five-year term, hoping to continue the important work done by Ulrike Schultz and her fantastic team, along with the RCSL's new president Pierre Guibentif.
