Interested in reading more about how to help people to claim their rights? On how to have access to a lawyer? I am very proud to have been part of the Council of Europe's exciting project on improving access to justice in Latvia, which had its closing event today. Aiming at making legal aid more accessible to the public, the project set up and ran successfully - in the midst of the pandemic - pilot legal advice centres across Latvia. The centres were overwhelmed by people seeking legal advice, showing that there is a real need for such kind of service in Latvia! More about this project, please see here.
